Website Designer Role Overview
We are seeking talented and creative Website Designers to join our team. This role is tasked with creating visually stunning, user-friendly, and responsive websites for our clients.
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of user experience (UX) + user interface (UI) principles and experienced with bringing designs to life in Figma.
Our Website Designers work closely with project managers, clients, and developers to ensure designs resonate with the target audience, are functional, and aligned with client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and Prototyping: Lead the design process from concept to completion, creating wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for websites and landing pages.
- User Experience (UX) Focus: Apply a user-centric design approach to ensure websites are intuitive, easy to navigate, and provide an excellent user experience. Conduct or assist with usability testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Responsive Design: Ensure all designs are optimized for responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility, delivering a consistent and engaging user experience across all devices.
- Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest web design trends, UI/UX best practices, and new features in Figma to continuously innovate and improve our design offerings.
- Figma Expertise: Utilize Figma as the primary design tool, leveraging its collaborative features, component libraries, and prototyping capabilities to create efficient and scalable designs.
- Design Systems: Create and maintain comprehensive design systems and component libraries within Figma to ensure brand consistency and efficiency across all projects.
- Collaboration with Developers: Prepare and hand off designs to developers, providing clear annotations, specs, and assets. Collaborate with development teams to ensure the final product accurately reflects the design vision.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3years of professional experience as a website designer.
- Proficiency in Figma is a plus.
- A strong understanding of user-centered design principles, visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A solid understanding of how designs translate into functional websites (knowledge of HTML, CSS is a plus).
- Experience with other design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a bonus.
