Our Approach to Pricing at Markexe

A common question we often get is how much it costs to work with our team at Markexe.

Let’s begin with our approach to pricing our marketing services.

First, our objective is to help small businesses grow. We are not in the business of having swanky, professionally designed office spaces or a bunch of useless stuff that adds no real value to those we serve. We don’t care about looking cool, winning awards, or getting mentions in the media. Our team is focused on helping our clients win new customers and build their brands.

Second, every business, including this one, has to operate profitably to serve its clients well. While we must be profitable to succeed, we can be profitable and have reasonably priced services.

We believe and have experienced that money is not an issue when you serve people well and treat them fairly.

Pricing Philosophy

Our pricing includes team member compensation, core marketing technology, business insurance, operations technology and equipment, professional service fees (accounting and legal), professional development, office supplies, and reasonable profit.

Marketing Partnerships

We provide ongoing marketing solutions to our clients via Marketing Partnerships. We provide various marketing services within our partnerships, including marketing strategy, performance reporting, content marketing, SEO, digital advertising, creative projects, website updates, and more.

Our Marketing Partnerships are offered on a month-to-month basis. We don’t believe in long-term contracts.

Marketing Partnerships begin at $1,500 per month.

Website Design + Development

Our website projects begin with a Website Strategy + Planning engagement. During this engagement, we work with the client to develop the goals of the website, functionality requirements, sitemap, wireframes for core pages, and explore design preferences.

This engagement produces a detail project scope, allowing us to provide our client with an accurate estimate based on the time and resources required to create it.

So, how much do we charge for an average small business website?

The starting price for a custom small business website is $3,500.

Payment terms are one-third up front to begin the project, one-third upon design approval, and the remaining balance prior to website launch.

Managed WordPress Website Hosting

We provide premium WordPress hosting for our clients via a dedicated server with WPengine

Our managed hosting service is all-inclusive for our clients. Worrying about website maintenance should be the last thing a business owner has to be concerned about.

  • Hosting on our private, dedicated server
  • Global Edge Security (includes Cloudflare Web Application Firewall)
  • Core Premium Plugins (Elementor Pro, RankMath Pro, Crocoblock, WProcket)
  • Plugin Updates
  • Daily Backups

Our monthly managed hosting plans start at $89 per month.

Ad Hoc Projects

We are happy to help with individual projects as our clients need them. A project estimate will be provided and work will begin upon client approval.

Depending on the size and scope of the project, half of the project estimate may be due to begin the project with the remaining balance upon project deliverables + approval.
